Week One of League = 2 wins!

Our league season got off to a great start this past week as we won both of our matches in decisive fashion! The guys played smart, focused, and aggressive tennis and earned two solid victories to start the league season with a 2-0 record. From top to bottom the guys played great tennis and played with a passion for the game and an energy level that made them successful in their respective matches. I am pleased with the effort and energy of the guys both in practice and during matches. Our players do a great job of being supportive teammates and exhibit excellent sportsmanship on the court as well.

Singles: Alex Worth, the birthday boy, played a great match and won in decisive fashion 6-1, 6-0

Doubles: Kevin/Jake played a great match, won 6-0, 6-0, and extended their undefeated record (5-0)

A special thanks to the Kiff family for providing sandwiches for the guys on the road at Canby, and another thanks to the Colvins for providing sandwiches, chips, cookies and drinks for the Tigard match at home. Thanks to all of the parents for your great support and attendance at matches.
