After one excellent 3 hour session today on the courts, try-outs are complete. The guys played hard for 3 hours today and did well in several tough tennis and fitness drills. In my four years as head coach of this program this was by far the best try-out session we've ever had! The guys rose to the challenge and competed well. It was great for me to see many of our seniors show leadership and encourage some of our freshmen who are new to the game. The team unity and encouragement were spectacular out on the courts. This is going to be a special season. Congrats to all who tried out for a fantastic effort. Teams will be posted tomorrow morning by 7:30am outside of my classroom door. Let's have a great first day of official practice in specific teams tomorrow! Go Grizz!
